This is actually the second Garmin Nuvi I have purchased (both as gifts). My mom and my sister both love them and have used them to get to all sorts of new places.

The Garmin nuvi 760 4.3- inch is my first Garmin and I am a very satisfied customer. The only downside it does not come with the instruction book, so kind of play with that and get familiar. The POI's really awesome! I love my Garmin 760. Thank you Amazon for a great deal and for the quick mail. It got here on time. The English woman that do the command, she sound agitated, but I liked it. I called my Garmin my Biatch because of her voice. LOL :)

Comparable with my husbands Zumo 660 in reference with navigation, without the added price. Displays posted speed limit for the road being travelled on the screen but doesn't show how fast you are going like on my Nuvi 250W. You can see that information by going to the dashboard screen. Haven't had the opportunity to use the Bluetooth feature yet but it was easy to setup. I really like the ability to route/plan a trip using Garmin's Mapsource then download it into the 760. This Nuvi is very user friendly.

I have a Honda Accord with GPS and bought a new Chevy truck without GPS. I got really used to using the GPS in the Honda, even just viewing the upcoming streets was a good info to have. So I decided to get a Garmin based on reviews and articles comparing it to TomTom. Decided to get the 760 based on the Bluetooth.
Tried the bluetooth at home and it synched fine. It was able to retrieve the contact info from my iPhone. Tried calling people and they could hear me just fine and vice versa. This nice feature ended there. Driving and using the bluetooth is another story. It is TERRIBLE! I can't understand the other person and they can't understand me either. Whether I'm driving on the freeway or city streets, the result was the same. If you are thinking of getting this GPS because it has a BlueTooth feature, DON'T do it. You won't be able to use it anyway.
The voice direction that tells the driver to turn on streets was another dissapointment. Most of the time, it tells you in advance, but sometimes it will tell you to turn on the street that you are already on -- a little late. Good thing I don't really wait for the voice and tend to rely on the visual map.
I really like the routing with multiple points. You can prepare in advance and you won't have to plug in addresses while you're on the road.
The Windshield suction cup worked most of the time...until it falls off! I recommend not relying on it. Other owners bought the bean bag so they can place it on their dashboard.
The POI was cool. We were driving on interstate 70 East of Denver, CO and wanted to find a place to eat. It was flat and not sure where we should "hunt" for food. The POI gave us a few options on the way to our route.
Overall, I wasn't very happy with it and returned it because of the couple reasons above. I'm eyeing the Garmin 855 but now a bit touchy of Garmin. I'm hoping it was a specific device issue rather than the Garmin system as a whole.

this gps is great for the price but there are some definite shortfalls. for one, the fm transmitter does not work well at all near any kind of city and is very staticy and doesn't find stations easily because everyone else is using them for their devices. also it would be nice if it remembered the city you are in so if you enter addresses you dont have to type in your city every time you add a new address as a destination. other than that, i haven't had any problems with it and it's a great gps nav system for $200. it's not very flexible but it definitely gets the job done and has some nice features. it was a CR best buy, and i would wholeheartedly agree with that assessment.
